We have gotten the bees!!

5/4/20

We checked the bees yesterday and all was well. They are making some comb for the frames, we saw lots of brood and some frames of honey/nectar/pollen. We sadly did not see the queen but she is still hopefully there.

4/27/20

We just gave our hives some inside feeders. The way we did it, we got 2 mason jars, hammered 6 small holes into it, then put in some sugar syrup in to it, then we got two pieces of wood and put them on are inside cover and put the jars on top of them and then we were done.

4/26/20

We got the bees on the 25th and so far they are doing good. We only got are carniolan honey bees in 2 weeks we will hopefully get are saskatraz split.

4/10/20

Depending on the weather, we may get the Carolinian honey bees this Sunday or next Sunday. All of it depends on the weather ( which does not really like us right now). We checked the hives and we are going to use the mint hive for the Carniolan honey bees and the yellow hive for the saskatraz bees.

4/8/20

We may get our carniolan honey bees next week and are saskatraz honey bees in may. We may just get both of our hives in may, we don't know.
